Converge ICT Fiber ISP Thread (never ever hard reset your modem and refer to page 1 for FAQs)

  • ^ nako pikon na nga ako sa lintek na cs na yan , 6 days akong straight tumawag wala naman nangyari sa ticket ko. Ayaw man lang gawing top priority yung saken , Dec 15 pako nag request ng speedboost upgrade yung libre hanggang ngayon wala padin. DI ako tumawag kanina eh baka bukas try ko ulet
  • Wait I just realized that new customers are now getting 35mbps for the base Plan1500. And here we are getting still 25mbps. If this isn't terrorism.......... Kakapagod tumawag everyday

    I haven't verified this yet kasi since Monday nung installation nila, di pa nag-up kailan yung connection ("The network status is abnormal sa modem/router ko) and since Wed, tawag ako ng tawag sa kanila using Skype (di ko mapagana yung Click2Call sa site nila).

    Sa website kasi nila, naka-announce na 35mbps na yung base plan1500. Do you already have the Converge app? Try mo check if 35mbps yung nasa dashboard mo. It should be 35mbps kasi yun na naka-publish e lol

  • yung samin kakakabit lang last week, 25mbps lang,di ko pa nasubukan itawag sa kanila. gusto ko sana i check sa app nila kaso di ko pa alam account number ko e

  • I know Converge is throttling because the ONLY thing that can solve slow browsing/selective browsing is using a premium VPN that can control packets and ports that can bypass the auto throttling traffic that converge is doing.

    a class action lawsuit is the only thing that'll solve this.

    and before anyone suggests DNS changing etc, I've already troubleshooted every possible thing I can from my end.
  • Sa akin naman recently so far so good. Nagkaron ng days where I also reported here na nakaka experience ako ng slow browsing but it was gone maybe after 2 days.

    Still using opendns as my DNS server.

  • Mukhang inupdate na nila yung click2call nila... Gumagana na sa kahit anong browser na gamitin ko.. I don't know kung may binago sila sa link but I'm posting it here for reference:

    never pa gumana sakin yang click2call. lagi lang "connected". or I'm doing something wrong?
  • ^ try google chrome or microsoft chromium edge.. Working for me at the moment.. When prompted to allow use, microphone etc, make sure to Click allow

  • Hindi na ako makatawag sa click2call since last week of December, may ban system yata sila sa mga irate callers hahaha!
  • Yang click2call gumagana sa browser (Chrome) sa laptop ko but not on my phone. Ganun din ba sa inyo?

    VPN im using is PIA (Private Internet Access)

    these settings bypass their auto throttling



    my guess is it auto throttles based on the quality of the infrastructure on an area
    I'm in Tagaytay and I'm guessing the service and lines here are garbage
  • Gumagana ang click2call sa opera mini sa mobile. Refresh lang ng refresh, pati sa Google Chrome sa Mobile.
  • Just received an sms and email from converge na naupgrade na daw speed namin.

    Upgraded na talaga kami. Baka nagalaw nanaman nila ang config.
  • May upgrade daw system ng Converge today kaya di ako matutulungan ngayon try daw after ilang hours since hanggang 10PM sila. From installation last Monday until now, hanggang GUI lang ng device nila na-aaccess ko. May isang buwan pa yung Viber credits ko since ayaw gumana Click2Call. "wooh, patience.... understanding...., natiis kong 4 years na intermittent 3Mbps, this too shal pass.

  • Mga Boss, pwede kaya mag request papalit ng modem for free? May times kasi na nawawala or unstable access unless restart modem, nakaka 4 ako sa 1 araw ng restart sa ganyang reason. Kahit yung dashboard minsan di ma-access. Both wired and wireless. Using Huawei HG8245H, Plan 3500.

    Sa akin din problem ko ang 5ghz band ng ONU ko pero since LAN ports are okay, opted nalang for a 3rd party router (which is actually better).

    Ngayon ko lang natest PS4 ko sa Converge, so far walang issue at naka-login naman agad ako sa PSN and Playstore at malapit sa actual speeds yung lumabas na estimated speeds ng network ko (wireless). PS3 ko though di ko pa natry but most likely ganun din.

    So far 3 days since unang nag-up internet ko walang issue ako kay Converge (Angono, Rizal area). :)

    Whenever I'm streaming to Facebook, my connection drops as seen. This happens multiples times, all throughout the day (no specific timeframe). I've set the upload speed of my streaming software (OBS) to 6mbps, 5mbps, 4mbps...same result.

    ALSO, When I use a VPN (e.g. NordVpn Hong Kong/SG), my stream does not break or drop at all -- though I don't want to pay extra for VPN just to stream to Facebook. This has never happened before.

    Normal browsing seems to be fine. Speed seems to be okay. It's only streaming to Facebook that seems to be the issue. May iniba na naman ata si Converge...hay nakakainis
