  1st step is to make an bootable usp Flash DOS to make it easier use rufus bootable usb drive, heres the download link pls pay a visit; <click here for link>
  and heres how to do a bootable DOS
  
  
  
  after that just copy all the download content on Emebedded Controller Flash Firmware 1st and execute the steps provided below, once it was successfully flash the next step is to delete the emebeded controller flash files on the usb and replace it with latest System BIOS v1.02.09 files then execute the step provided below

  2nd Step You must Flash 1st the Emebedded Controller or AKA "EC"... this is a must or else it can brick your laptop heres the link to download latest EC for the ELAN LD2JL ; <click here for link>
  1. EC firmware 1.02.03.
  2. Support Windows 7, Windows 8 & Windows 10
  3. It is necessary to follow the instruction of readme_EC.txt to update firmware.
  
  How to flash EC firmware:
  
  1. Plug in AC adaptor.
  2. Run ECFlash.bat under pure DOS to start EC flash procedure, the system will shut down automatically when the procedure is finished.
  3. Plug off AC adapter for 5 seconds then plug in AC adapter.
  4. Power on system and enter CMOS setup to check EC firmware version.
  
  
  
  3rd Step is to Flash Update the latest System BIOS v1.02.09. (03/15/2013) heres the link provided below:

  . System BIOS 1.02.09.
  
  2. Update VBIOS to 2143.
  3. Update ME to 8.1.2.1318.
  4. Please refer to the content of readme.txt to update firmware.
  
  How to flash BIOS ROM:
  
  1. Plug in AC adaptor.
  2. Enter CMOS setup to disable "Intel Anti-Theft Technology" if the item is available.
  3. Enter CMOS setup to check the EC firmware version, if the version is 1.00.xx then it is necessary to update EC firmware at first.
  4. Run Meset.exe under pure DOS environment, system will restart automatically.
  5. Run flashme.bat under pure DOS, system will shut down automatically.
  6. Plug off AC adapter for 5 seconds then plug in AC adapter.
  7. Power on system, the system will restart automatically.
  8. Enter CMOS setup to check BIOS version and load system default, save changes and reboot.
  9. If the original BIOS settings are different from system default, please enter CMOS setup to change BIOS settings before system loads Windows.

  Curious questions.
  
  Anong benefit kapag niflash yun bios to clevo?
  Pwede ba irevert sa original bios ng laptop after doing this procedure?
  And, will this work with the LD2K unit ng Neo?

  @barny21 >>> yan po ang pinaka Flash BIOS ng NEO ELAN LD2JL... rebrand lang po kasi ang neo elan ang original model name is na sa likodan ng laptop or bottom surface ng laptop nyu po... ang sakin po is Model W25AEN, pag same din sa inyu pwede nyu po update 100% works mag iiba nga lang ung boot logo di na neo elan ung original boot logo na po

  sa link po binigay e2 lang compatible na model sa NEO ELAN ang model na pwede "W25AEN, W255EN, W258ENQ, W251ENQ, W253ENQ, W253ENQ, W253ENQ, W270ENQ, &W271ENQ

  Good ! Clevo co W25AEN model yan, compatible po yung laptop nyu sa lates BIOS Flash... ang pinag ka iba malaki po, since po ang NEO Elan di nag provide ng latest BIOS. kaya yan ni research ko po sha at ang pupose kasi po nyan at pinaka point po ay luma na po ung sa neo elan compared sa original Bios ng clevo co kasi latest bios provides bug fixes and supports compatibility issues like upgrade po ng hardwares like ng memory ram, cpu upgrade, wifi upgrades at lalo na ang UEFI OS compatibility lalo ng ang mga bago kike win 8 and 10... ang source of info ko sa techinferno forums site nag ask ng help sa moderators, i just wanted to share lang sa mga pilipino na may neo elan na pwede na nila ei update ung bioses ng laptop nila since rebrand lang yan. Ang pina original brand kasi nyan is clevo Co
