    Not directly related sa topic pero yung ganitong scenario is a good argument for doing regular backups, ideally offsite (tulad ng cloud services).

    I'm afraid emsisoft's solution didn't work out. It says that the ransomware variant is new, hence unable to decrypt. Would anyone know any other solution? I've scoured the interweb and most of the free tools I've tried didn't work out as well.
