Try to avoid using generic power supplies to power up your computer. The chances are 30/70, 70 percent chance that the PSU will fail along with the components.

I recently swapped my 1 month old sapphire R9-380 nitro 2gb sa
newly RMA'ed na Palit Gtx 960 super jetstream 2gb
Ask ko lang if hindi bako lugi? considering ung saken almost a month used lang pero
i overclocked it kasi i ran 3d firestrike and see for myself ung difference ng NON-OC'ed na VC sa OC'ed and
i can see 5-10% increase in performance in fps and overall.
So eto na nga, ngswap kame nung isang tpc user (3am ng madaling araw nangyare ung deal, from las pinas sya and from makati ako sa sobrang gusto nya na maka deal ako tinuloy na nmin ng 3am sa boarding house, tinest ko nman ung unit before so okay naman sia nglaro ako few games then decided it's a done deal na.)
Hindi bako lugi sa deal considering brand new nman replaced ung palit gtx SJS 960? may ksama sia receipt for RMA purposes ulit.
Bakit ko swinap? GTX 960 tlga ung una kong choice of cards kaso wala sa dynaquest (jan lang kasi pde ung card na ggmitin ko for installment) di ako pde mg buy piece by piece ksi installment gagawin ko sana pra isang bilihan lang.. so 2nd choice ko is ung r9 380 since un lang pasok sa budget ko (below 10k).
Feedback sa GTX 960:
para may idea kayo eto rig ko
I5-4590 stock HSF
8gb ram 1600mhz Cl9
PSU 550watts 80% efficiency huntkey green power (Out of stocks kasi ung Corsair VS500 at Hec Cougar SL 500)
1TB HDD
Games played:
Resolution ko : 1600x1200 19.5 inches monitor ko
Arkham Knight-Natapos ko tong laro na to with almost no stuttering (kaso low details pero high ung texture quality with AA ON lang since 2gb lang ung card ko, pag normal settings playable sia sa 60fps KASO may stuttering pag fast paced na lalo pag nsa batmobile which for me is not tolerable, dibale ng ibaba ko settings bsta wala stuttering issues, maganda nman graphics ng arkham knight even in low detail)
The Witcher 3- Dito ako sobrang napabilib..ganda ng graphics nito! settings ko dito ULTRA BUT tweak some settings na nakuha ko online for best performance without sacrificing graphics quality, like turning off hairworks and other tweaks. Stable fps ko d2 50-55 di sia umaabot ng 60 fps kahit i OC ko si GTX 960. napansin ko lng sa game na to though hindi sya ganun kalakas kumain ng RAM at VRAM ung GPU usage is 100% pg OCed umaabot sia 105% which im not sure is safe. nagulat ako sa temps ko umaabot 80c di ko napansin sa afterburner na naka auto ung fan ko. lol ng panic ako so adjust ko sia to 70% aun nglalaro sia 65-70 hehe..
GTA V-stable 60 fps ako dito on ULTRA (kahit nakalagay na dapat 3gb ram above ung needed) hehe.. adjust ko ibang settings na hindi mo naman mapapansin just to reach ung 60fps na cap
Currently witcher 3 ung tinatapos ko, sunod ko lalaruin ung middle earth: shadow of mordor GOTY tska Fallout4. natambakan nako ng games. ayoko kasi sabay sabayin. nakakapanibago lalo pg 2 RPG games nilaalaro mo. hirap mgadjust nugn nglalaro ako sabay ng batman at witcher 3. lol
Ask ko lang since parang nakukulangan ako ra RAM ko ksi sa arkham knight almost 6gb ram kinakain nya so im left with 2gb ram nalang plan ko sana is palitan ung isang 4gb 1600 ko ng 8gb 1600mhz na stick mg kakaron po ba sia performance issues kasi hindi pares na 8gb ung ggmitin ko? bali magiging 8gb+4gb 1600mhz na stick mangyayare..
PS.

Running and 8GB and 4GB stick will not penalize anything regarding performance.

Pero for a media player PC, parang magastos sa kuryente yan? Check mo dedicated players

If your PSU is not generic, a GTX 750 Ti will work well with your PC.
Ultimately, it's your budget and the games you play that will determine which video card you really need.

mga sir ask lang po ng opinion. I'm choosing between gtx650 or r7 250x ano po ba kunin ko? Mas mura 250x kaso ayoko lang is kailangan pa ng power connector, sa gtx650 no need for connector and parang mas maganda specs. Sulit ba kung kukunin ko yung gtx650?
psu 600w(not sure if generic pero hindi to yung builtin na psu sa case)
gigabyte a75m-ds2
amd a8
thanks sirs!

maglalabas ba ng bagong GPU ang nvidia at amd this year?
cpu ko is phenom II x4 955BE, old gpu ko is hd5770. monitor reso ko is 1366x768 lang naman kaya walang problema. ano kaya magandang upgrade from my old gpu?

thinking of upgrading my Powercolor HD4850 to something newer. medyo tinotopak na rin rin ata eh, malimit nako mag-BSOD (atikmpg.sys ang culprit) kahit nakapag-fresh reinstall nako ng drivers. I'm running two HD4850 driving two monitors. My budget per card maxes out at 4500, pwede siguro hanggang 5, pero as much as possible, I'd like to keep it under 4500. I'm fancying the HIS R7-260x pero baka may mas alam pa kayo na mas sulit sa presyo. I'm not a hardcore game, pero as much as possible I try to keep up with the newer games (although playing at Low to Medium quality).
Other components of my current rig:
Mobo: Gigabyte EP45-DS3R
CPU: Intel E8400
RAM: 8GB
PSU: FSP Epsilon na 750w (can't remember anymore)
Salamat.

Either try the PC AXR7 250OC with GDDR5 1gb for 4350 or Asus GT730 2gb ddr3 128bit Fermi for 2850 (kung medyo sabog yung Crimson drivers para sa iyo).
@eternalenvy

Tignan ko yang 250OC, although tama ba - the 260x I was referring to should be newer than the the 250OC? In general the 260x should be better than the 250OC, or that's not always the case? I'm not sure though if I can run an nVidia GPU, kasi sa website ng Gigabyte, ATi lang ang nabanggit na GPU brand for my motherboard. But still, the 250OC you mentioned should be worth a look. Salamat ulit!

The rule of thumb I've seen is that often the GPU processing power, bandwidth (128-bit over 64-bit) and/or VRAM speed (GDDR5 over DDR3) are more important than VRAM size. I recommend closer comparison of the two cards before purchasing.

The 260X (896 Shader Cores), is significantly faster than the 250OC (384 Shader Cores)
