If tanong mo na may nagloloko ba kung 2+ nkakabit sa router, ndi. Walang issue sakin. -

Pldt router > wifi going to dlink ac750 tapos lahat ng wifi sa bahay sa dlink magcoconnect
Note: dsl lang walang fiber dito sa amin :(

Bale plug and play napagana ko naman sya naka cavle from pldt kaso gusto ko sana via wifi lang

I'm on PLDT Home DSL Plan 1699. It's supposed to be 15 Mbps, pero 10 Mbps lang ang nakukuha ko. Wala naman akong reklamo kasi based on previous inquiries here, mukhang sa DSLAM/port ang limitation. Matagal nang neglected ang lugar namin when it comes to new tech, kaya tanggap ko na.
May tumawag na PLDT rep sa akin ngayon lang. Tinatanong kung papayag ba akong palitan ang DSL modem ng bago. Nag-hesitate ako sa simula kasi baka ma-apektuhan ang DSL speed and latency ko.
Pero sinabi niya na para daw maka-accommodate ng higher speeds yung bagong modem. Wala daw magbabago sa account ko, but I will have to install it myself. I-deliver lang ng technician. No need to surrender my existing modem, which is a Prolink H5204NK from 2014. Na-approve ko na, at i-deliver na daw ang modem in 7-8 days.
Yung bagong modem kaya ang posibleng mag-raise ng speed ko to my actual subscribed speed? -

Need ko lang ng help to wirelessly connect sana yun dlink router sa pldt dsl router. Wala ako makita guide na specific para sa pldt router ko -

Sorry wala ako masyado alam sa technical terms. Bale ang plano ko kasi is pldt tapos connected wirelessly kay dlink tapos ilalagay ko yun dlink sa malapit sa tv para connect yung tv via cable and all devices connect via wife din kay dlink.

madami pong guide yan sa YT. pero possible po ma halve and speed na makuha nyo from the 2nd router if you are going to connect wireless clients to the 2nd router. baka po kaya ng original firmware ng 2ng router nyo na mag create ng additional wireless SSIDs. Yung isang wireless po ng 2nd router ay coconnect wirelessly sa pldt router nyo(set SSID and password for PLDT router), then yung isang additional SSID could serve wireless clients ng 2nd router. Parang wireless repeater na po sya. (Nagawa ko lang po ito sa pldt fiber router at Linksys WRT54G (old router) flashed with DD-WRT. Safest po yang wired lan to lan no need to flash a firmware.
Babala: Hindi ko po responsiblidad kung ma brick o masira ang router nyo kapag nagkamali po kayo sa pag flash ng firmware sa 2nd router nyo.
Magagawa po ito ng sa DD-WRT firmware. madami na po supported na router pero delikado po mag flash ng firmware kung hindi susundin lahat ng steps na nakalista sa site nila sa tamang pag flash.
Kung mag bad flash, may chance po naman marecover ang inyong 2nd router pero hindi garantisado.
Pwede ko po malaman exact model ng router nyo?

i am using tp link wr841n v9 firmware... kung balak nyo mag dd-wrt, kailangan yun bibilhin router ay nasa dddwrt database at meron stable na ddwrt firmware at meron rin option na ibalik sa stock firmware, na appreciate ko yun ddwrt kasi umabot ng 110 meters line of sight ang signal ng wifi 2.4ghz ko tapos per mac address na yun bandwidth control, nakakatuwa nga dahil pwede ko iset sa 56kbps ang dl at ul
kung na brick naman, meron tutorial sa yt para mareflash sa original firmware using rs232 usb interface, available naman sa shopee

a callcenter agent of pldt called and telling me that they are going to replace our modem with the new prolink modem. i don't have to pay for it and i can keep the old modem. but the agent ask a lot of question like my name, age etc. which i refuse to answer coz it has nothing to do with the pldt account and modem. weird.
is this really from pldt? may naka experience na? -

kung gusto mo sure, tawag ka ulit 171 and report mo dun (including estimated time kelan un para may idea sila). If legit, ayos. If hindi, makakatulong din sa kanila bat nangyari -
me ganyang modus before kasi na pldt daw tapos nanalo daw sa promo punta daw sa isang place (not branch) para iclaim. buti na din hindi ka nagconfirm ng personal info at mas better nga kung iverify mo sa hotline or branch

oo, pwedeng ma-identity theft ka, they would go after your pag-ibig/philhealth/SSS so as to get a loan/money from them using your account. Father ko nahack BDO credit card nya, what I remember is two months before that may tumawag ding tao na parang may fishing expedition for information

Sa parenrts ko basta na lang may dumating na new modem, pero nag text siya sa mother ko na phase out na daw yung modem nila at nag padala na ng bagong modem si PLDT. Walang tumawag na ganyan sa kanila, kasi ask ko rin sila kung meron pang taga pldt na tumawag. -

Someone from PLDT called us as well about replacing our modem. I called 171 after the phone call and it turns out to be legit. They said they’ll be sending the new modem via courier and all we need to do was present a photocopy of valid ID. They seem to be having a massive modem replacement program. Probably because they’re updating their system? Hopefully everyone’s gonna be VDSL now?
