  • Is your area not serviced by fiber?

    Been waiting for fiber to be rolled out for over 1 decade?

    For those not business savy ISPs will only offer service when they know they can get a reasonable & fast return of investment (ROI).

    If your neighbourhood cannot afford a 999/month plan or only a prepaid plan then it may be a sign that you are the richest person within 1km radius.

    In which case you may want to start looking for a new neighborhood with fiber internet.

    @tagasubok, same question a few posts back. i think pldt has some problems pinging both services. hmmm
  • meron na po bang nakasubok gumamit ng 3rd party VDSL modem/router? wala daw po kasing stock si pldt and kailangan ko po mapalitan na yung router ko.

    Sinabi ba ni PLDT sayo na ikaw na lang bumili ng modem-router para ikabit nila para sayo? Normally kasi ay di pumapayag ang mga telcos na ikaw ang mag provide ng sarili mong modem-router dahil may mga settings sila na nakalagay sa mga provided units nila.

  • Plan 2899 (VDSL) dating umaabot ang downstream sa 90+Mbps ngayon parang nilimit nila ng 70Mbps,

    Tapos tuwing mag sisimula umulan, nawawalan ng internet, laging handshaking status.

    Wala pa din balik pldt sa ticket ko.

    kailangan puntahan ng tech talaga yan?

    meron po ibang puwede gawin to try? bigla na lang nag blink red ang LOS at nawala net in the middle of browsing, ano kaya maari problema?

  • bakit po yung dating pldt dsl subscription ko noong ang highest plan available nila is 3mbps lang ay wala akong na eencounter na lag or request time out, pero ngayon madalas lag kahit 10mbps na yung plan pero madalas ma lag? meron ba nakaka alam kung bakit? imbes na mag improve yung quality ng connection nag degrade pa kahit mas mabilis na yung plan?

    99 percent ng LOS is PLDT issue. wala kang pwede gawin kung hindi ireport sa PLDT to check on their side.

    not unless naputol mo yung patch cable which unlikely since hindi naman nating ginagalaw ang router.

    Careful with LOS, on our first home muntik ko masira yung ONU cable(from the NAP box) dahil nag LOS and ang unang duda ko is sira patch cable ko or something.

    The first thing I should have asked was my cousin under the same adress na LOS din.

    If I remember correctly may dalawang fiber break sa town namin when I asked Mr. Garcia sa PLDT Fibergroup dati dahil hindi alam ng 171 ano nangyari.

    In short if LOS ka at walang physical damage yung fiber patch cable or yung fiber drop cable sa premise mo, try mo kamustahin kapitbahay naka PLDT din if possible.
  • hello po mga master, san po pwede magfollow up ng application, nagemail at message kasi ang pldt last week, regarding lang sa reference number ng application namin ng fibr plan. mga ilang weeks kaya hihintayin bago may magkakabit.hehe

    depende sa tadhana talaga. Pwede 2 weeks andun na, or 6+ months wala pa. Lalo na ngayon may kung flu / ECQ, malamang matatagalan yan.

    Cguro every week/other week tumawag ka sa 171 para mag followup.

  • according to them nagkakaubusan na daw ng CPE routers kaya ngayun imbis na sinasabi nila within 24-48 hours ngayun 2-3 weeks na.
  • @GENTLEMEN thanks sir!, lagpas two weeks na nga po wala parin.haha.,mukang aabutin po ng buwan.,wala din po kasi mahanap sa website nila na contact
  • @Blu3martini bigla nalang nawala net and pansin ko LOS blinking Red, tapos walang light PON,

    parang if no PON light means no connection sa cable, I asked my neighbor ok naman sila, and bldg po kami kaya if line problem dapat buong bldg wala net or dapat buong floor nawala, pero kami lang wala,

    duda ko baka modem ang sira, anyone experience this kind of problem?

  • bakit po kaya for the past 2 weeks, tuwing mga 8 or 9am to 2 or 3pm. nadidisconnect internet namin every 5 minutes tas connected ulit then mawawala ulit after 5 mins. pero pagdating ng 3pm to 8am.. di naman nadidisconnect. tinawag ko na sya sa cs nila and sabi nila sa sobra daw traffic sa network kasi marami online the subscriber nila from 8am to 4pm.

    pldt ultera (wn-600 router, ot-350 outside antenna)
    3MBps plan ( pero mula nung november 2019 to present. pumapalo ng 20MBps to 80MBps)

    do you mean plug in my modem with fibr line of my neighbor? I dont think so, nakakahiya po, di po kami very close, bldg po kasi, kami,
    I tried direct without the patch cable same, can I try find my line at the switch box on my floor so I will know if its the cable from the switch box on our floor to my unit that has problem?

    does resetting the modem might able to help? what I know is resetting it might be harder to locate the problem kasi

    I thought you were using VDSL/DSL modem because of the thread title, madali lang kasi yung ikabit.

    30mbps kasi plan ko, nagtaka ako this week at parang nagpi-peak lang sa 10mbps DL speed ko.

    Same experience here for this week. I notice na bumagal ang speed. I should be able to get 20Mbps on my side pero ~10Mbps and lang ang na-achieve this week.

    Ganun pa rin ba ang speed ninyo yung parang naka limit sa 10Mbps pero sa speetest tama naman plan 1699/mo 25Mbps kame, pero yung continues use eh cap sa 10Mbps.
