I have an LG washer/dryer combo and it automatically sets the water level. There is no way to set it manually.

Yeah. Not sure bakit dito satin hindi.
@kevindd992002
Oh nice. How's the smell of your clothes after washing and drying them? May amoy naman? I don't want to use fabric conditioner. Where exactly do you buy it from?

In terms of capacity for front load, kasya na ba usually ang 7kg para sa family ng 2-4?
Ans*n's has the latest model ng LG na frontload but 7kg lang, may larger sizes sa iba but older models

We have 11/7 kg washer dryer combo, halos araw araw, or atleast every other day naglalaba si misis.

What exactly is the 7Kg "latest" LG washer/dryer model that you're eyeing for?
@andoksus

The LG FV1207S5W; I think mas previous year models yung 8kg or 8.5kg capacity models both in Anson's or Abenson, this model has more functions available

I highly suggest the LG FV1413H2BA which has even more functions and is the latest model they have for a washer/dryer combo. It's the only model that has auto dispense, at least at the time when I bought it last Nov 2022. I was in the same boat as you. I wanted around an 8-10Kg washer only but they didn't have one with auto dispense so I opted for the bigger 13Kg model. No regrets here dahil mas marami akong nalalagay na load at one time and because these models are so efficient kahit konti lang yung load mo, less electricity and water consumption parin. Just make sure you use an HE liquid detergent.

Ohh, plus the Turbowash feature is so good! The model you're eyeing for doesn't have Turbowash and auto dispense.
I also suggest not directly buying at Anson's. Look for 3rd-party agents sa FB marketplace. They can give you a better price and they get their stocks from Anson's anyway.

HE = high efficiency
Less suds (bula) and needs significantly less water to be effective.

(sad to say talaga - kahit yung mga 30k+ na washing hindi tatagal kung durability lang titignan, no idea ako if mataas na quality nung mga 40k+ dito sa atin)
yung iba hindi nagamit ng fabricon
yung ginagamit nila is Spray
spray na nila before tupiin
ano po recommended ninyong pang-spray if meron man pong nagamit sa inyo?

Let's stop calling it "washing". Pilipino lang gumagawa nun and it's wrong. If you want a shortcut, it's "washER".
Durability depends on how you use and maintain it. You should be doing regular tub cleans on any washer.

I am wary of going for washer dryer combos, because inherently, wouldn't they be more prone to problems later on? And I don't really like how you'll have to spend so much time getting one load of laundry done if you will do both washing and drying after.
On one hand, it's cheaper to get a combo than a separate washer dryer, and it has better features on the washer side. But it loses out on the dryer side (though of course this is less important), and perhaps on longevity or reliability

@muwu11
It all depends on how much space you have. If your laundry room/space allows for stacking an independent washer and an independent dryer together, that is obviously the better option. You are also limited with the dryer features when you get a combo (you can't choose a specific dryer temp).
I didn't realize that the LG FV1207S5W you were eyeing on is just a washer. But yeah, if you're going that route, I suggest looking for an LG washer with the Turbowash and EZDispense features. Hopefully, there is one in our country.

@kevindd992002
Unfortunately, I think it is just the combination units that get the turbowash 360 feature. There are washers only that have turbowash, but it's not the same, it's like a wash program and not an additional option to add to a program, perhaps it's just like a quick wash mode or something like that.
I do think I will stick to the separate washer and dryer route. I am just wondering if 7kg will be enough for a new couple, no kids yet but in the future probably will be
-
kevindd992002

Yeah, that sucks. It looks like it's just available in other countries like this one in the US: https://www.lg.com/us/washers/lg-WM3900HBA-front-load-washer
Turbowash and Turbowash 360 both cut the overall cycle time significantly but yes the 360 version is the one I was pertaining to as it sprays water to the clothes in all directions (has 4 jet sprays in front) and has been effective for me.
I wouldn't get a 7Kg washer as it's too small for me. We're also a new couple living in a condo without a kid yet. I was planning on getting just around a 10Kg washer when I was researching last year but was also looking for one with EZDispense. So the smallest capacity available that had EZDispense is the FV1413H2BA and is the reason why I went with it. I think 7Kg is too small if you plan on washing comforters/duvets. My recommendation is to get at least a 10Kg.

yung gamit namin ngayon panasonic 1year and 2weeks lang - nasira yung sensor dahil sa "moist" as per panasonic tech
3.5k yung hinihingi pra repair - tapos need pa magwait ng 1month
both of them hindi nababasa ng ulan kasi nasa loob ng bahay at hindi naarawan
alaga talaga mga unit namin
yung sa kapitbahay namin fujidenzo FAWM - more than a year din - sira
pero yung mga pinsan ko sa germany
3 sila sister - iba ibang brand
mostly 15 to 20years bago magpalit ng FAWM
at nakatry na ako ng AEG
second hand na galing ng germany
nabyahe pa via container van from Germany
nagamit pa namin ng more than 10 years

March 8-9, 2023
Cotton+Gentle Dry
2.30kWh - 7hr 37mins
March 10, 2023
Cotton+Gentle Dry
Total = 2.78kWh - 7hr 49mins
March 12, 2023
Cotton+ Speed dry for 210mins
*dito may kasamang 2 maong pants, di masyadong natuyo yung loob niya, so failed yung experiment ko na speed dry for 210mins
Total = 2.56kWh - 6hr 28mins
<click here for link>

Hmmm, bakit kaya ganito yung akin. Naka normal rinse lang naman ako. Parang same lang na walang amoy si Powerclean and Ariel para sakin. Maamoy siya right after the laundry cycle finishes, of course, pero kapag tapos na mag air dry wala na talagang amoy.
