@roland
good day sir...

Help, power problem
For power, my cameras are wired with a flat cord that's daisy chained. 3 cameras per chain per area.
I'm not getting any signal when connected in 1 power channel
Can i bridge a PTC Fused power supply? (similar to increasing current in car audio amplifiers)
Power Channel 1: + -
Power Channel 2: + -
Power Channel 3: + -
What I plan to do is connect the '+' of Channel 1 and '-' of Channel 3 to a daisy chain of 3 cameras.
Is this possible?
Thank you

mga sir, i need a supplier/installer ng CCTV, my boss is looking for one, bale dalawang project to, isa dun sa Antique Shop nya at isa dun sa bahay nila. I was trying to contact pizzadox, sya kasi dati yung kontak ko dito at nagkabit din dun sa manila office namin.
4CH DVR or NVR with 4 units of 1 to 2 MP HD Camera (IP/Analog) - para sa Antique Shop
8CH DVR or NVR with 6 units of 1 to 2 MP HD Camera (IP/Analog) - para sa house ni boss
I'm recommending to my boss the HIKVision IP camera and NVR, but it will depend on the budget, kung papayag naman si boss sa NVR with IP Cam, wala tayong magiging problema. Ang mahalaga magandang klase yung output nya.
Please help me on this, baka may kakilala kayo na pwede kong kontakin.
TIA

Can you post your existing & propose connection? Parang medyo confuse ako sa plan mo, which is parang nare-route lng, pero possible naman, yun nga lang mas pinaliit mo ang chances na may mag power up kahit isa sa 3 cam in a daisy chain connection in case of power failure.

Dati kasing ginagamit ko is yung internal hard drive kaso d ko maiwan 24/7 kasi umiinit and takot kaming baka masunog hehe
Pa advise naman po. Thanks!

@Wesker,
WD Purple at SV35 were design for surveillance system and works for 24/7. Uminit man sya normal lang.

Tagal ko na gumagamit ng ordinary HDD. Noon naman talagang ganyan lang gamit. Sa tingin ko wala naman kaso.

Tama, wala naman problema kahit ordinary HDD gamitin, pero iba parin yung recommended at designed for specific applications, dahil sa difference nila na halos hindi napapansin like speed, power rating & etc.

Thanks whoami01 and Ripantnow sa pagsagot.

@pinoytsikboy
Well I guess ung supply mo ang problem. Have you tried to test na isang power lang gamit say 12v 1.5a or depende sa rating ng cam mo? We usually do 1:1 na ratio.
@hdd
24/7 or surveillance hdd are designed to have greater Write performance vs Read compared to desktop hdd. In our experience, desktop hdd tend to fail earlier compared sa AV designed HDD. Might be marketing churva lang yon but hey they exist Hehehhee..... Mainit talaga yong hdd but they are designed to take those kind of punishment, one time my client kami na amoy birthday yong factory nila yong DVR halos alikabok na as in itim pero yong disk niya is still intact since the day na nainstall siya and it was a Maxtor still we have working ones. :)

pero ngayon 720p per channel is near 2-3D1 na yan sa space then x number of channel... sobrang mabigat.

im using axis m32xx series IP Cam...
is there any possible way para ma view ko cctv sa bahay pag nasa office ako?
