  • guys ok ba LG 27GP850-B? or may iba kayong ma suggest @ 20k budget. ty

Good value, I've been using mine for about 3 years together with my old but good 1070ti. Hopefully makaupgrade sa 3080 or 4070 for long haul 1440p gaming.
  • Grabe, life changing pala ang 144hz. I ended up purchasing the Asus Vp249qgr and ang laki sobra ng difference ng image quality from my old LG 60hz monitor. Sobrang layo ng difference when it comes to details din.

Is there a bigger jump in terms of image quality if I go from 1080p to 1440p?
  • Is there a bigger jump in terms of image quality if I go from 1080p to 1440p?

    yes
  • Yes. Once nasanay ka na sa 1440p, any resolution below is a considerable downgrade.
  • Is there a bigger jump in terms of image quality if I go from 1080p to 1440p?

    yep. 1440p masterrace haha

For me, the jump from 1440p to 4K was quite the jump too, image quality-wise. More, pixels = more details even on a bigger screen. Even with a modest GPU, now it's more feasible to get 4K at high frame-rates because of modern upscaling tech like DLSS, FSR, XeSS, TSR, etc.

On the PS5, 4K still looks good in performance mode.

Real talk? It depends, lagyan natin ng science: The higher PPI the sharper the image.

14" 1920x1080 = 157 PPI office laptop ko pero of course sharp ang image but the overall IQ is lower than my 27" 1440p IPS monitor
    22" 1920x1080 = 100 PPI

Fakuryu, very helpful yung info mo about PPI.
I'm curious about this one: 25" 2560x1440 = 117 PPI - Are there any brands and models that you'd recommend for this?
Or do people generally go for 27" size for their 2k res instead of the 25"? I haven't really searched the 25" range before for 2k, usually kasi 27" agad nakikita ko for 2k.

    i went with the Lenovo G27Q-20. 27" 1440p, 165hz. Worth the money.

  • Sale yung ultrawide ng Xiaomi ahh. P16,999
  • @pasobrangkanin: ang problema... after sales... hehehe... kapag may issue... outright replacement ba?... stock replacement?... hehehe...
  • ^
    AOC 24G2 for 1080p
  • @dotangdota

  • @fakuryu
No budget restriction boss, ung pasok lang sa gamit sana. DOTA 2 lang nilalaro ko e haha.
Check ko suggestion nyo @fakuryu @songerph

    Salamat po

  • @all

Meron ba sa inyong nakagamit na ng monitor that can also charge a laptop via USB C, kahit hindi fully charged, basta hindi lang ma lowbat agad.

I have searched several models from google, pero tanong ko lang kung merong nakagamit na with similar setup.

Laptop ko kasi is charging via USC C, and I can't use the USB C monitor connector while charging.

Built in HDMI port is only limited to 60hz

Me, i have the gigabyte m27f. tingin ko same applies for other kvm monitors ni gigabyte. di siya high current but enough to not drain and charge very slow ang work laptop

I'm using LG 27UP850, it can deliver up to 96W thru usb-c. Kayang kaya nya yung macbook air ko or even a macbook pro since 60w lng ata yun.
  • @john_topher
I think ok lang kahit slow charging, basta magamit the whole day.
1080p pala itong M27F, will look at 2k/4k offerings of Gigabyte, baka parehas lang sila ng charging speed like you said.

    @aldyu
Thank you sir, will consider this as well, medyo mahal lang benta ng official store, pero baka mag sale din sila sa online platform.
  • Guys, do you know any monitor na available na dito sa Pinas with 1440p 200hz+ that is around 25k-33k?

I can only find the Samsung odyssey g7 pero I am hesitant due to the scanline issue.

I am looking at the Gigabyte M27QX pero it seems it is not yet available dito.

Just curious, why do you need a 200+hz monitor? Since yung input lag difference ay sobrang minimal na unless your a professional competitive gamer?

    60hz - 16ms
    120hz - 8.3ms
    144hz - 6.9ms
    165hz - 6ms
    200hz - 5ms
    240hz - 4ms
  • @Fakuryu

I am coming from a 1080p 144hz.

So sweet spot is 1440p 165hz?
  • ^
I think 1440p(2560x1440)na ang normal resolution ngayon. Maganda sa 1440p kung sweaty ka sa fast paced first person shooter i mean kung low setttings at wala or off anti aliasing maganda pa rin tingnan compare sa 1080p na naka off ang anti aliasing.
