Might be an unintended side effect of speedboost a NAP cabinet that has too many high-end plans without corresponding supporting fiber facility to produce that Mbps.
Like say a NAP cabinet has a total throughput of 10Gbps for a 2 dozen fiber ports.
If all subs are on a 1Gbps plan then there's a shortfall of 14Gbps... If everyone is maxing out 1Gbps at the same time then you a speedtest similar to that occurs

I think walang kinalaman yung speedboost or sa NAP cab.

dapat may any info man lang silang nilalabas, mapa international problem (e.g undersea cable) o local problem lng dapat naglalabas sila ng update

@ceejaybassist917 I agree na kulang sila sa transparency, sana maging honest manlang sila kung may issue man or system enhancement silang ginagawa.

Telco giant PLDT Inc. will be tripling its international capacity with the activation of the US-Transpacific Jupiter cable system next month.

On the road to symmetric 100Mbps/100Mbps with 300Mbps/300Mbps speed boost costing 699/month?

your fiber facility is has more subs than available Gbps at peak times.

That can easily be resolved by swapping our the 1Gbps fiber cards in the NAP cabinets for 10Gbps fiber cards.
This was how Dennis Uy of Converge spoked about increasing throughput for all subs.
If >80% of internet traffic was within the country they would have activated that service by now but they need the international backbone for it to become active before they can do it.

We did co-hosting in a data center here. Cheaper to AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
We cut cost by >90%
